Description of manuscript content:
This manuscript is the 45th of 79 volumes. The manuscript, titled “Sam Po Kong,” is folk tale that tells the story of Sam Po Kong devised his strategies before going to war by first assessing the enemy's strength. If he estimated that the enemy would be difficult to defeat, he would deploy two or three warriors to engage in resistance.

- The writing is dominated by the Lontarak Makassarese script, with some characters modified by Liem Kheng Yong, and features a combination with Hanzi. - Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community. - It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend. - There is a red stamp of the author that reads: “LIEM KHENG YONG-MAKASSAR.” - Pages 57 to 62 in the text are missing (the pages jump directly from 56 to 63).
