Description of manuscript content:

This manuscript is the 40th of 79 volumes. The manuscript, titled “Sam Po Kong,” is folk tale that tells the story of Tio Sang Hong rediscovered the true soul of Hong Teya's personality.

Other notes:

- The writing is dominated by the Lontarak Makassarese script, with some characters modified by Liem Kheng Yong, and features a combination with Hanzi. - Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community. - It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend. - There is a red stamp of the author that reads: “LIEM KHENG YONG-MAKASSAR.” - The back cover is missing. - There is no date of manuscript writing, as some sheets are missing at the end of the manuscript.
