This manuscript is the 38th of 79 volumes. The manuscript, titled “Sam Po Kong,” is folk tale that tells the story of a hermit suddenly arrived in the village. King Pe Hong loudly asked who the person might be, could he possibly be 'To Manurung'?

- The writing is dominated by the Lontarak Makassarese script, with some characters modified by Liem Kheng Yong, and features a combination with Hanzi. - Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community. - It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend. - There is a red stamp of the author that reads: “LIEM KHENG YONG-MAKASSAR.” - There is a piece of paper affixed to join the torn sheets on pages 5r and 5v.
