Description of manuscript content:

This manuscript is the 27th of 79 volumes. The manuscript, titled “Sam Po Kong,” is folk tale that tells the story of King Leng Yang To Ti Yang ordered his knights to remain at the place they had arrived at until further instructions were given, while issuing a warning to those who dared to disobey the orders from his master.

Other notes:

- The writing is dominated by the Lontarak Makassarese script, with some characters modified by Liem Kheng Yong, and features a combination with Hanzi. - Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community. - It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend. - There is a red stamp of the author that reads: “LIEM KHENG YONG-MAKASSAR.” - On the colophon section of the Hua-He text, there is a piece of pasted paper that slightly covers part of the text. - There are traces of moisture on the manuscript paper.
