This manuscript is the 17th of 79 volumes. The manuscript, titled “Sam Po Kong,” is folk tale that tells the story of Tote Cing Kung and Tiang Lo competed in the art of deception by trying to outguess each other’s predictions.

- The writing is dominated by the Lontarak Makassarese script, with some characters modified by Liem Kheng Yong, and features a combination with Hanzi. - Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community. - It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend. - There is a red stamp of the author that reads: “LIEM KHENG YONG-MAKASSAR.” - There are signs of termite damage on several sheets of the manuscript. - There are signs of dampness on the manuscript paper.
