Description of manuscript content:
This manuscript is the 11th of 79 volumes. The manuscript, titled “Sam Po Kong,” is a folk tale that tells the story of Ho Ang Ong’s distrust of the ministers that led him to disregard their orders, as they tended to take everything lightly in his country.

Other notes:
- The writing is dominated by the Lontarak Makassarese script, with some characters modified by Liem Kheng Yong, and features a combination with Hanzi. - Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community. - It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend. - There is a red stamp of the author that reads: “LIEM KHENG YONG-MAKASSAR.” - Each sheet of paper has small holes, remnants of insect bites.
