Description of manuscript content:
This manuscript is the 11th of 79 volumes. The manuscript, titled “Sam Po Kong,” is folk tale that tells the story of Ao Ang Nga who had many ways of lying; it was unclear when he was telling the truth. He was known as a person of bad character, in contrast to Ti Ong Ko, who was known for his virtue and honesty in speaking the truth.

- The writing is dominated by the Lontarak Makassarese script, with some characters modified by Liem Kheng Yong, and features a combination with Hanzi. - Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community. - It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend. - There is a red stamp of the author that reads: “LIEM KHENG YONG-MAKASSAR.” - There are termite bite holes on the front part of the manuscript. - There are signs of dampness on the manuscript. - There are Hanzi characters at the beginning of the colophon date writing: "Hua" and "He".
