Other notes:
- The writing is dominated by the Lontarak Makassarese script, with some characters modified by Liem Kheng Yong, and features a combination with Hanzi.
- Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community.
- It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend.
- There is a red stamp of the author that reads: “LIEM KHENG YONG-MAKASSAR.”
- There are termite holes on every sheet of paper.
- There is a scribal error in writing the date in the colophon. The colophon states “27-7-1926,” but it should be “27-6-1926.” This correction is based on the Chinese calendar indicated and by comparing it with the preceding and following volumes.
