This manuscript is the 57th of 93 volumes. The manuscript, titled “Tang Le Keng,” is a folk tale that tells the story of a kind and highly knowledgeable friend named Jing Song who comes to settle in the village of Simbengli.

-The writing is dominated by the Lontarak Makassarese script, with some characters modified by Liem Kheng Yong, and features a combination with Hanzi. - Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community. - It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend. - There is a red stamp of the author that reads: “LIEM KHENG YONG-MAKASSAR.” - There is a small hole caused by insect bites.
