This manuscript is the 42nd of 93 volumes. The manuscript, titled “Tang Le Keng,” is a folk tale that tells the story of Hong Teya’s troops going to war, led by a war commander named Ki Sung Ceng.

Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community.
It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend.
There is a red stamp of the author that reads: “LIEM KHENG YONG-MAKASSAR.”
