This manuscript is the 36th of 93 volumes. The manuscript, titled “Tang Le Keng,” is a folk tale that tells the story of the thief Po Ciu Hu, who became the second richest person in the city.

- The writing is dominated by the Lontarak Makassarese script, with some characters modified by Liem Kheng Yong, and features a combination with Hanzi. - Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community. - It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend. - The front cover paper is joined right near the manuscript binding. - There is a red stamp of the author that reads: “LIEM KHENG YONG-MAKASSAR.”
