- The writing is dominated by the Lontarak Makassarese script, with some characters modified by Liem Kheng Yong, and features a combination with Hanzi.
- Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community.
- It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend.
- At the beginning of the manuscript, there are damp marks and termite damage on the manuscript, but the text remains intact.
- There is a red stamp of the author that reads: “LIEM KHENG YONG-MAKASSAR.”
