This manuscript is the 16th of 93 volumes. The manuscript, titled “Tang Le Keng,” is a folk tale that tells the story of Hu Jing, who conveyed his messages through a declaration of loyalty oath.

Initially, this manuscript was rented out to the Peranakan Chinese community.
It is adapted from a Chinese folk legend.
On the front cover, there is text written in blue ink. This text is unrelated to the content.
There is a red stamp of the author that reads: “LIEM KHENG YONG-MAKASSAR.”
