Description of manuscript content:
The story starts with Panji Asmarabangun who is given the title Prabu Suryawasesa in Jengala. He has a son, Raden Lawean who has become the King of Pajajaran. Prabu Lawean has a son, Prabu Mundingsari. Prabu Mundingsari has a son Prabu Mundingwangi. Prabu Mundingwangi has a son Prabu Pamekas who has five sons. Prabu Pamekas’s daughter goes as far the Island of Hundrus and becomes the queen of the King of Holland and swiftly founds the ‘kompeni’ (Dutch East India Company), while, Jaka Seuruh founded the Kingdom of Majapahit under the name Prabu Brawijaya, Aryabanga dies in Bagelen etc. etc. up to Wiralodra.

Mulai menyalin pada hari Minggu Kliwon jam 9 pagi tanggal 12 Agustus 2018. Hamba bernama Ki Tarka Sutarahardja dari desa Cikedung Lor. Sedang babad Dermayu dikerjakan beberapa bulan sebelumnya.
Other notes:
The copyist wanted to find the relationship between Raden Wiralodra, the founder of Indramayu and his ancestors in the Babad Bagelen. He wanted to compare the information from the two babads to understand where Wiralodra comes from. He also wants the story about Raden Wiralodra who is the founder of the regency of Indramayu to be used by wayang puppeteers and other performing artists. Babad Bagelen runs to page 25v. (image DS 0027 00026r. Babad Dermayu starts two pages further on with image DS 0027r. The manuscript ends with a short text entitled Lontar Pangruwat Kalawansa that ends abruptly.
