Description of manuscript content:
The manuscript contains the story of Nyi Roro Santang. She is the younger sister of Raden Walang Sungsang who is better known as Ki Kuwu Sangkan, the son of Prabu Siliwangi Pajajaran and she is finally married to Sultan Hut of Egypt. She will shortly deliver her son, Sharif Hidayatullah or Sunan Gunungjati, the ruler of Cirebon. His brother will continue the dynasty of his father, the King of Egypt. In spreading Islam over Java, Sunan Gunungjati joins the Walisanga.
Other notes:
The manuscript is incomplete because of many missing pages and the text ends abruptly. The puppeteer Ki Karta used this manuscript for his wayang golek cepak Indramayu performances. Many pages are damaged with loss of text. The text is written in Javanese tĕmbang macapat poetic form.
