The text deals with various issues of Islamic jurisprudence about worship, behavior, and Islamic law.

Other notes:

There is a Javanese note in the manuscripts about its owner: “Ikilah Kitab Taqrib Kagungane Kyai Maolani Lengkong” (This is the Kitab Taqrib owned by Kyai Maolani Lengkong). At the end are many quotations from jurisprudence on worship and divination based on the letters of the Arabic (pegon) alphabet and prayers to restrain sexual lusts. There are also added pages with quotations from jurisprudence from various sources. The text is written with the use of diacritics. The Arabic text has been provided with interlinear glosses in Javanese.
