Description of manuscript content:

The manuscript contains two texts. The first text deals with the Shaṭṭarīyah-Naqshabandīyah Order and the different kinds of remembrances (dhikr) in the Order. The second explains events surrounding the birth of the Prophet Muhammad accompanied by commendations. This Mawlid text is written in prose and in verse.

Other notes:

At the opening and closing of the manuscript some pages are very moldy and full of scribbled notes and doodles that are hard to read. On image 45v is written in Javanese script that the manuscript comes from Kuningan. The text is written with the use of diacritics.
