Description of manuscript content:
Sap Kammavaca, the formal words of the act using at an ordination ceremony. The text was written in Pali and Lao. The content describes the process of the ordination ceremony for monks.

Folio 26 on the recto side: In Culasakkarat (CS) 1251, a kat pao year, on the seventh waxing day of the ninth [lunar] month, a huang khai day, the seventh day of the week (Saturday), the writing of this manuscript was finished in the afternoon (between 12.00–13.30 o’clock). Chao Khanan (ex-monk) Tissapanya from Vat Xiang Muan and his parents and all his relatives had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Kammavacha to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May all our wishes come true. Nibbāna paccayo hotu no dhuvaṃ dhuvaṃ nibbānaṃ paramaṃ sukhaṃ (May this be a condition for us to reach Nirvāna which is the greatest bliss, certainly).
