Description of manuscript content:
Kammavaca, the formal words of the act using at an ordination ceremony. The content describes the process of the ordination ceremony for monks.
Colophon:
Folio 21 on the recto side: In Culasakkarat (CS) 1211, a kat hao year, on the ninth waning day of the seventh [lunar] month, the fifth day of the week (Thursday), a huang mao day, the writing of this manuscript was finished at the time of the forenoon horn (between 9.00-10.30 o’clock). Sao (Mrs.) Pòng and all her children had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Sapphasut to support the Teachings of Gotama Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May the benefit of this merit support my children and my husband who have already died and gone to the other world, may this merit support them to reach the three states of happiness of which Nirvāna is the ultimate goal.
