The story of a previous life of the Buddha, when Bodhisattva was born as a small bird living in a rice farm. At the time, Devadatta was born as a hawk. The hawk ate small birds. Once the hawk saw the Bodhisattva bird, it flied down to catch the bird. The bird ran into a hole. The hawk’s chest attacked the soil and broke, and then the hawk died.
