The manuscript contains the biography of the founder of Pondok Pesantren Sampurnan who was known under the name Kiai Kanugrahan (Kiai Qomaruddin).

Other notes:

Some pages have been repaired with paper in another color. The text also contains information that Kiai Basyir got this story directly from Kiai Kanugrahan (Kiai Qomaruddin). According to sources around the pesantren, Kiai Basyir lived from 1838-1860.
