Description of manuscript content:

The manuscript contains puppet theatre stories starting with the story of the children of King Sastra Boja and Sastra Pramuka who contend with the princes of 25 kingdoms who compete for the hand of their younger sister, Sastrawati. The text ends with the story entitled “Bedahe Ngajogja” that narrates the story of the war and defeat of the Kingdom of Ngajogja.

Other notes:

The owner is a female puppeteer who concentrates on the masked dance theatre in Indramayu. The text contains the outline of the stories used in the theatre. The manuscripts has hard covers, is written in blue ink and easily readable.
