Description of manuscript content:
The third of four fascicles of Cundasukarika Sutta was written in Lao language as description. The content describes about the merit derived from paying homage to and listening to Cundasukarika Sutta as Dhammika Bandit had conducted. As the power of the merit, a miracle of lighting happened in Tavatimsa heaven. When Indra acknowledged, he sent Mataliputta to bring Dhammika to the heaven and inquired him about his practice.
Colophon:
Folio 12 on the recto side: In BE 2482, on the sixth waning day of the twelfth [lunar] month, Hua Na Nang Phia La from Ban Vat That had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript to support the Teachings of the Buddha and to dedicate it to Hua Na Phia Chit who already died and has gone to the other world. If she is been stuck in a place of suffering, please let her move to a good place numerous times better than previously. Dhuvaṃ dhuvaṃ (Continuously).
