Description of manuscript content:
The first of four fascicles of Cundasukarika Sutta was written in Pali language begins Sukittimā subācāro susiravā supāgatassa. The text is popularly used by a monk to read in the nyot tham ceremony which is organized in a monastery or a house in order to get merit.
Colophon:
Folio 6 on the recto side: In BE 2482, on the sixth waning day of the twelfth [lunar] month, Hua Na Nang Phia La from Ban Vat That had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript to support the Teachings of the Buddha and to dedicate it to Hua Na Nang Phia Chit. If she is stuck in a place of suffering, please let her move to a good place numerous times better than previously. Dhuvaṃ dhuvaṃ hontu (May this be continuously).
