Description of manuscript content:
The text was written in Pali language using for chanting. The first ten folios contain the text of Girimananda Sutta and the last folios contain the text of Phan yak or Atanatiya Sutta.
Colophon:
Folio 35 on the recto side: In Culasakkarat (CS) 1260, a poek set year, on the sixth waning day of the third [lunar] month, the fifth day of the week (Thursday), the writing of this manuscript was finished at noon. Chao Mòm (monk) Man had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this Sutta manuscript to support the Teachings of Gotama Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May this merit support me in this life and in my other existences, may I be released from sufferings and enter the state of happiness with Nirvāna as the ultimate goal. May my wishes and desires come true. The handwriting is not so beautiful. Ai Chua (ex-novices) and Chao Mòm (monks), please be considerate if there are any misspellings.
