Description of manuscript content:
The text mentions about Indra’s message in order to instruct the human beings in this world. The human beings should collect merit by giving alms, observing precepts, meditating, and listening to Dhamma preaching. Thirty years after the death of the Buddha, there would not have any arahants. In Sangkat (Culasakkarat) 1000, King Dhammikarat (a great righteous king, this probably means King Asoka) would support the Teachings of the Buddha and Buddhism would have flourished. After that, it would be a dark era of the era of the devil. Only the ones who follow morality would be safe.
