A wealthy family has a son named Sumedha. He is a solitary man. When his parents passed away, he got all the inheritance, then donated it all. After that he behaves himself as a hermit living in the forest. One day, while he is soaring in the air for seeking fruits, he sees people are reclaiming their way, then he goes to ask them. When he knows that the Buddha is coming, he joins the people to reclaim the way. However, when The Buddha has arrived, he has not finished the clear the way that still has more yet, therefore, he stretches himself on the way for the Buddha and his monastic disciplines walking pass the way on his body. Then, The Buddha predicts that Sumedha Rüsī will be a Buddha in the future.
