Description of manuscript content:

This mulberry paper manuscript is a Shan herbal medical treatise, included with magical diagrams to be drawn on Sa paper as a candlewick for a worship ritual (in both Pali and Shan).

Other notes:

The manuscript is difficult to read because ink is stained and faded in some pages. This manuscript was written in Shan and Lān Nā scripts with modern black ink and, at the end of the manuscript, with a pencil.
