I pay homage to the Buddha, the Dhamma, the Sangha, my parents, and my teachers. I, a disciple of Master Lāi Sai Kāng Süa, am going to copy this Jātaka manuscript. May I be free from obstacles and dangers. May the merit derived from copying this manuscript support me to reach Nibbāna.
This manuscript was copied from the original version written by Mò Lāi Care Moeng Sòng (a disciple of Cao Kāng Süa), in 2406 BE, the third lunar month, and sponsored by Phrā Takā Māi Kham and his family.
Remark: The date corresponds to the period 8 February to 7 March 1864.
