Description of manuscript content:
Once the Buddha stayed in Avantī. His disciple, Sōṇa gave sermon to bandits until they faith and ordained to be Buddhist monks. Later, they went to see the Buddha and he taught them about bailing water out of a boat which helps us ashore faster, that is we must get rid of greed, anger and delusion that supports us to be Arahanta faster. After that, he gave a sermon about Chatthan Jātaka, the story when the Buddha was the Chatthan elephant which was cut ivories by a hunter for offering to the queen of Varanasi city. When the Chatthan elephant realized that this is the time to redeem its bad karma, he let the hunter cut the ivories and died.
