Description of manuscript content:
The king Pranta has seven wives, in which wife gives birth to a son. However, the son of the first wife is stolen and discarded and replaced by a piece of wood. Indra sees the occurrence, and adopts the baby and names it, “Dhukha Khattiya Kumara”. Then, the first wife is driven out from the city but later she meets her son and lives together. After that, Dhukha Khattiya Kumara goes to compete Sabā (Entada rheedii Spreng seeds) sport with the other six sons, and wins. One day, the king Pranta’s mother is caught by a Giant, Dhukha Khattiya Kumara goes to help her and bring her back. When the king Pranta knows all the truth, he drives out the other six wives and their sons from the city, and brings the first wife back to the palace as well as appoints Dhukha Khattiya Kumara to be the Heir Apparent.
