Description of manuscript content:
This Jātaka manuscript pertains to the Bōdhisatta who was born as a fortune-teller in the period of Buddha Sumaṅkhala. One day, he invited Buddha Sumaṅkhala and his 990,000 disciples to receive food-offerings. He also recommended a wealthy man joining the merit-making. However, they were worried about whether the place and food would be sufficient. Having realized this, God Indra assisted them to make the event successfully done. This merit led the Bōdhisatta to the new rebirth as the Buddha in present life and led God Indra to the new rebirth as Phra Anuruttha.

Now, I finished copying this manuscript entitled Nibbāna Ōchā to be then decorated and covered nicely. May the merit derived from producing this manuscript support me to reach Nibbāna.

The front cover, the back cover, and the spine are decorated with black lacquer and gilded with gold leaves. Some parts of the manuscript text are damaged by insects.

I pay homage at the feet of the Buddha who owns and shows us the ship or the so-called Noble Eightfold Path bringing us to cross over the Cycle of Rebirths. [I pay homage to] the Dhamma or the Tipiṭaka, the eight groups of the holy monks, my teachers, and my parents. I am going to copy this manuscript. May the guardian spirit who protects the manuscript cabinet support me. May I have longevity, fine complexion, happiness, and good health.
This manuscript was copied from the original version produced in Cūḷasakarāja 1224 (2405 BE), on the fifth day of the waning moon of the eleventh lunar month.
