Description of manuscript content:
While residing at Ghijjhakuta Mount in Rajagir, the Buddha visited Ananda Thera who was aged and suffering with illness. When Ananda reported the Buddha about the situation of his illness which was still in bad. Then the Buddha preached Sarakarivijjha Sutta to Ananda and advised him to remember and recite the Sutta. By chanting this Sutta regularly, the illness would be relieved. The previous Buddha such as the Buddha Vessabu, Kukkusanda, Kassapa, and others also preached this Sutta in order to be benefits of people.

Folio 17 on the verso side: The writing of this manuscript was finished in the afternoon, at the time of soft sunshine, in BE 2466, on the ninth waning day of the tenth [lunar] month, the year of the dog.
