Description of manuscript content:

The text tells the spell of phra ratsi tafai (a fire-eye hermit) and other spells for aggrieving and chasing a ghoul or an evil spirit or phantom from a person. When a ghoul haunts somebody, the shaman will use these spells to aggrieve the spirit and chase it out of the person. The belief of a phantom possessing a person still exists in Southeast Asia.
