The story tells there was a woman, whose son had been ordained as a novice at the place of the Buddha. When the novice was twenty years old it was possible to be ordained as a monk. The woman brought three robes and one bowl to the place of the Buddha for his novice son. After the ordination, the Buddha gave instruction to the new monk that “You are now a monk. You have to follow the monastic disciplines strickly. You have to be restrained, not let the mind run after emotions. You have to control your mind like a mahout controls his elephant. This practice is for having obtained Nibbana).
