Description of manuscript content:
The story tells there was a woman, whose son had been ordained as a novice at the place of the Buddha. When the novice was twenty years old it was possible to be ordained as a monk. The woman brought three robes and one bowl to the place of the Buddha for his novice son. After the ordination, the Buddha gave instruction to the new monk that “You are now a monk. You have to follow the monastic disciplines strickly. You have to be restrained, not let the mind run after emotions. You have to control your mind like a mahout controls his elephant. This practice is for having obtained Nibbana).

Folio 26 on the recto side: Sangkat hundred 87 (CS 1187), a hap hao year, on the first day of the waxing moon of the fifth lunar month, the sixth day of the week (Friday), a tao sanga day, the writing of this manuscript was finished at the time of the afternoon’s drum (between 13.30-15.00 o’clock). Chaomom (monk) Nay Borkeo had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript, to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years.
