Description of manuscript content:
The story tells of a Yak (giant) who had high rank and one thousand followers, often ascended to present Vessuvan in Chatumaharajika heaven. Vessuvan or Vaisravana is the chief of the four heavenly kings, the king of Yaksas, and the protector of the north. The king asked the giant “you come to see me often, what do you want?”. The giant answered “I want to have a residence in the human world”. The king gave him ten puzzles. The giant had to ask a human being he met about the puzzles. If one can answer correctly, the giant has to give one with silver, gold and clothes. If not, the giant can eat the one as food. Then the giant descended to the world and asked the puzzles to people. Nobody can answer correctly, so they became the giant’s food.
