Description of manuscript content:
The text on the first two folios was written in Pali as Buddhist spells for chanting. The text from third folio onward was written in Lao for chanting to prolong the age of the patient and to give blessing to the patient getting recovered soon. The ceremony includes offerings with 45 balls of rice, 45 candles, banana, sugarcane, betel nut, popped rice, and flowers for worshiping the Triple Gem.
