Dhutanga is the ascetic practices comprises thirteen kinds of practices for removing defilements with observing one or many of the following practices as routines: using of pangsakula as a routine; using 3 robes; going for alms; going alone for alms; sitting to eat one time per day; eating only inside the alm-bowl; not eating or receiving all the food after mid-day; sleeping in the forest; staying under a big tree; staying in the outdoors area; staying in the cemetery; sleeping on what is given; and sitting in motion.
