The story tells the 21st blessing is not to be heedless of the Dhamma. Being mindful and compassionate; going through life with eyes and heart open. Heedfulness in the Dhamma consists of ten bases of meritorious actions including: giving, observing the precepts, mental development, humility, rendering services, giving out merit, rejoicing in others’ merit, listening to the doctrine, teaching to the doctrine, and forming correct views.
