The text describes the merit derived from listening to the chanting or preaching of Sai noi and making the manuscript entitled Sap Sai. By making the manuscript of Sai noi, the sponsor would get merit as the same as making thousands of the Buddha statues. The Buddha said that "the ones who give food and water - means giving the energy; the ones who give clothes - means giving the beauty; the ones who give Dhamma - means giving the humanity, wisdom, to escape from suffer.
