The fourth fascicle of Patimokkha (The Fundamental Precepts). The text is written in Pali in Tham Lao script.
Colophon:
Folio 48 on the recto side: In Culasakkarat (CS) 1225, a ka khai year, on the fourteenth waxing day of the tenth [lunar] month, the sixth day of the week (Friday), the writing [of this manuscript] was finished at the time of the morning drum (between 7.30–9.00 o’clock). Thao (Mr.) Thi and his wife, and all his children, descendants and relatives had the religious faith to sponsor the making of [this manuscript entitled] Sutmon thang 5 (five chapters of chanting) to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. Nibbāna paccayo hotu no niccaṃ dhuvaṃ dhuvaṃ (May this be a condition for us to reach Nirvāna, constantly and certainly.
