This manuscript contains the responses and rebuttals of K.H. Asnawi Kudus on the fatwa of the mufti of Makkah Sayyid Abdullah b. Sayyid Shalih Zawawi al-Makki related to the traditional law regarding the reading the manaqib of Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jailani in Java. It also contains the law related to reading sources of knowledge from groups considered apostates, zindik, and heretics, as well as the polemic laws of the development of the thoughts of Ibn Taimiyyah, Ibn al-Qayyim, Muhammad Abduh, and Rashid Rida in Java.
