Description of manuscript content:
The manuscript relates the story of the exalted and chosen Prophet (Nabi luwih) Yusuf, the son of Ya'qub, in Egypt. The Prophet Yusuf is very popular among the adherents of the revealed religions, including Islam. Yusuf’s life is told from when he was 12 when he dreamed he saw the moon and eleven stars bowing before him and the tricks played by his jealous stepbrothers who threw him into a well. A caravan trader found Yusus and took him to the palace he met Princess Jaleha. His relation with brought him to grief and he was thrown in jail. However, because he managed to explain the king’s dream he was allowed back into the palace where the King of Egypt installed him as the King of Egypt.
