Description of manuscript content:
This is the story of a couple of white crows and is the source of the story of the five Buddhas who are continually present in this eon namely Kukkusandho, Gonagamano, Kassapo, Gotamo and Aryametteyyo. The story is that there was a couple of white crows that had five eggs in their nest in a banyan tree near the River Ganges. One day, a heavy rain destroyed their nest and the eggs fell down into the river but they survived separately and the eggs delivered five boys. When the boys were grown-up, they became hermits and met each other.
