Description of manuscript content:
While residing at Mount Ghijjhakuta in Rajagir, the Buddha visited Ananda Thera who was aged and suffering from illness. When Ananda reported the Buddha about the situation of his illness, which was still bad, the Buddha preached the Sarakarivijjha Sutta to him and advised him to remember and recite the Sutta. By chanting this Sutta regularly, the illness would be relieved. Previous Buddhas, such as the Buddha Vessabu, Kukkusanda, Kassapa, and others, also preached this Sutta for the benefits of the people.
