Description of manuscript content:
The text mentions about Mahapāla Thera who can see in the darkness. Mahapāla was a millionaire’s son in Savatthi. When he had a chance to listen to the Buddha’s preaching. He was devout and entered the monkhood. He strictly practiced in meditation in only three exercises such as standing, walking, and sitting. He did not lying down for three months. Finally, he was blind and attained aranhantship.
