Description of manuscript content:
Before ascending the Tavatimsa heaven, the Buddha described the seven categories of Abhidhamma to the Venerable Sariputta Thera. Thereafter, the Venerable called his 500 disciples to assemble and described them the seven categories of Abhidhamma he had heard from the Buddha. After the sermon, all monks attained the Enlightenment.

Folio 27 on the recto side: In Cula-sakkarat (CS) 1216, a kap nyi year, on the twelfth day of the waning moon of the twelfth [lunar] month, the fifth day of the week (Thursday), a tao nyi day, at the time of the morning drum (7:30–9:00), the writing of this manuscript was finished. Mae Thao (grandmother) I Un had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled 8 Mün to support the Teachings of Gotama Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May my wishes and desires be fulfilled.
