Abhidhamma, the higher doctrine, consists of seven categories: Saṅganī (enumeration of the Dhamma); Vibhanga (analysis of the Dhamma); Dhātukathā (discussion of elements); Puggalapaññatti (description of individuals); Kathāvattu (subjects of discussions); Yamaka (book of pairs); and Patthāna (book of relations).

Folio 25 on the recto side: In Culasakkarat (CS) 1216, a kap nyi year, on the twelfth day of the waning moon of the twelfth [lunar] month, the fifth day of the week (Thursday), a tao nyi day, at the time of the morning drum (7:30–9:00), the writing of this manuscript was finished. Mae Thao (grandmother) I Un had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled 8 Mün to support the Teachings of Gotama Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May my wishes and desires be fulfilled. Nibbāna paccayo hotu no (May this be a condition for us to reach Nirvana).
