Description of manuscript content:
While the Buddha was dwelling at the Jetavanna Monastery, a deity arrived and asked the Buddha some questions; for instance: what are the four objects? What should be done to gain a beautiful skin and a longevity as good resuts? Then, the Buddha delivered a sermon to him.
Colophon:
Folio 14 on the recto side: In Culasakkarat 2 hundred 816 (should be CS 1286), a hwai nyi year, in the sixth [lunar] month, a kot sanga day, the sixth day of the week (Friday), at the time of the morning drum (7:30–9:00), the writing of this manuscript was finished. Somdet Tissapanya from Vat That copied the manuscript entitled Munlatevatphasat to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5 thousand years. May my wishes and desires be fulfilled. Niccaṃ dhuvaṃ dhuvaṃ.
