Description of manuscript content:
The text describes a hermit who met a female baby and named her as Pathum-ma (lit.: lotus). The hermit looked after Pathumma until she was grown up. Then, through his supernatural power the hermit made a castle for her. They both lived and supported each other.

Folio 25 on the recto side: In Cula-sakkarat (CS) 1237, a hap khai year, on the eleventh day of the waning moon of the tenth lunar month, a poek chai year, the fifth day of the week (Thursday), at the time of the morning drum (7:30–9:00), the writing of [this manuscript] was completed. Somdet Boromma-bupphit Chao Hòkham Faina (the Royal Front Officer) together with his parents and all his family members had the most ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Lam Champa 4 ton (preaching on the story of four frangipani trees) to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May all our wishes be fulfilled.
